Commercial Bank provided during the first half of the loans in the amount of CZK 456 billion

PRAGUE (MEDIAFAX) - In the period from January to June 2012 provided the Group Commercial Bank (KB) loans amounting to 456.2 billion crowns, which is compared to the same period in 2011 to grow by eight percent. Group having informed on Friday with the fact that during the period increased volume of loans to individuals and businesses.

Growth in public funding, according to KB expression driven by demand for mortgages, which have maintained a good level thanks to low interest rates and a decline in property prices. The total portfolio of mortgages granted KB grew in the first half of this year by 11.8 percent to 128.2 billion crowns.

"The continuing uncertainty about the economic outlook of consumers prolonged downward trend in consumer finance, when the volume of consumer credit declined by 0.6 percent to 27.4 billion crowns," the annual report KB.

At the end of June 2012 KB Group was serving 2.5 million clients. The Bank had at the end of the period 1,600,000 clients in the Czech Republic, which is by 1.5 percent more. Of which 1.34 million were citizens of the Czech Republic, and another 262,000 customers comprised of entrepreneurs, businesses and corporations.
