September is historically the worst month for stocks. Will this year?

Summer was on stock markets marked by uncharacteristically green, September optimism but can investors in the veins really cool. It shows almost a century of history in the development of stock prices by month. As noted Dan Greenhaus of BTIG, in September 1931, when the Dow lost nearly 31%, and is the worst month for stocks since 1915. Since then, the negative results of September's stock market in more than 60% of cases, no other month, it is not negative nor in more than 50% of years.

Little hope for fans of seasonal regularity could be that the shares in the last seven years, five times during September strengthened. When, however, watered down, it was always at least 6%.
