Gasoline prices rose last week, diesel stagnated

PRAGUE (MEDIAFAX) - Over the past week in the Czech Republic continued increase in gasoline prices, which more expensive by 20 cents to 38.33 crowns, on the other hand, the price of oil fell slightly (by 3 pennies at 37.17 crowns). In favor of Czech plays motorists continue strengthening crown, it is clear from Monday's statistics of CCS.

"Average fuel prices in Rotterdam headed upward. Significant growth we have seen in the case of gasoline. Plays in favor of motorists developments in the currency markets, where the crown strengthens sharply and should prevent a more pronounced increase in prices," commented the development of fuel price analyst Peter Colosseum Cermak.

Brent crude oil prices over the last week stagnated. Commodity supported by reports of a new repurchase program of government bonds, which the ECB announced. Further significant decline in U.S. stocks or new stimulus measures in China."Hurricane danger that in the last days oil prices supported temporarily passed," said Cermak.

In the following days Cermak analyst can expect a mixed development. Diesel most likely cheaper, the price of gasoline should stagnate or grow slightly.
