Spain - home prices declined in 2Q most in HISTORY

House prices in Spain in 2Q of this year recorded an average annual decline of 14.4%, the highest since the start of monitoring data in 2008. QoQ in 2Q prices fell by 3.3%.

In the decade to 2007, property prices in Spain more than doubled. Since Q1 2008, when it began to decline rates, have lost 23%. From their peak in December 2007, prices fell by 32.4%.

Home sales in Spain in July declined by 2.5%, thus the 17th monthly decline in a row.

The volume of mortgages granted in June fell 20.4% year-oo.
