Gasoline prices last week continued to rise, diesel stagnated

PRAGUE (MEDIAFAX) - In the past week in the Czech Republic continued increase in gasoline prices, which more expensive by 38 cents to 38.50 crowns, against the price of oil was flat at 37.18 cents per liter. For the average increase of prices is increasing gasoline prices on the stock exchange in Rotterdam, this follows from Monday's statistics of CCS.

"Currently, the situation in Rotterdam against last week turned. Average price of gasoline fell slightly, diesel conversely increased," said analyst Petr Cermak Colosseum.

Also, the price of Brent crude oil last week went up and climbed to a four-month maximum. Support was mainly Fed intervention, which introduced a third round of quantitative easing. Further increasing tension and violence in the Middle East and north Africa. Markets remain well supplied.

The most important event for the Czech motorists but by Cermak was the situation in the currency markets, where the koruna strengthened sharply. "As a result, the Czech motorists should see in the coming days after prolonged drop in prices, which could move up in the order of ten hellers," concluded analyst.
