Czechs during the years spent abroad for more than a year ago

PRAGUE (MEDIAFAX) - Compared to last summer Czechs spent abroad during this summer much more. Through their statistics about on Monday informed the Era and the Postal Savings Bank and Bank.

CSOB clients and Ery made during this summer almost 800,000 foreign transactions totaling in excess of 1.1 billion crowns. Most of them carried out in Croatia (almost 110,000). Most clients, however, money spent in Italy (over 125 million). The countries with the largest volume and number of transactions also included Germany, Poland and Slovakia.

"Compared to last summer, the volume of foreign transactions this year has increased by more than half. Terms of the number of transactions was even an increase of 71.4 percent. ATMs abroad of our clients chose almost 740 million crowns.Most people chose the Slovak Republic, Germany and Croatia, "says Peter Demjanovič, Head of Cards CSOB and PSB.

Among the most popular holiday destinations traditionally belonged to Croatia. In the period June-August 2012 here CSOB clients and Ery paid card over 106 million, while in the same period last year were EUR 19.9 million crowns. "In this significant rise is among other things the fact that people are becoming more accustomed to use their credit card payments as well as the foreign traders and wear carrying a large amount of cash," says Demjanovič.

From the perspective of withdrawals from ATMs outside the Czech Republic as well as the most money last year chose the Slovak Republic.During last summer, clients of CSOB and Ery chosen from Slovak ATMs more than 160 million, this year it was still about 34 million more.
