U.S. - orders of durable goods in August fell by 13%, without airplanes grew by 1.1%


Durable goods orders in the U.S. fell in August decreased by 13% due to the decline in transport aircraft. The August decline was most pronounced in January 2009. The market expected a drop in orders by 5% in the overall estimates range from -9.4 to +4%.

Excluding the impact of aircraft orders rose by 1.1% compared to a decline of 5.2% in July and 2.7% in June. Orders civil transport aircraft, the month after the key European air show basically stopped the previous growth rate of 51%. To illustrate Boeing in August received a single order compared to 260 in July.

Delivery of goods qualifying in the calculation of GDP fell by 0.9% compared to a decline of 1.1% in July.
