Lowest price of corn from the beginning of the current month



ColosseumAt the lowest level this month fell during yesterday's trading session on the Stock Exchange Chicago Board of Trade CME Group within the most active futures contract on corn. It was a response to signs of declining demand from overseas and decreasing ethanol production in the U.S. corn export sales fell in the week ending 28.09 compared to the previous year by 75%. Ethanol production in the United States during the same period fell to the lowest volume since June 2010, when the U.S. Department of Energy began to publish weekly data on production of that commodity. Corn futures with the December delivery date weakened during yesterday's trading session by 0.8% to the closing price of 742 cents per bushel. During the day vyklesala up to 740 cents, the lowest price since Sept. 28 of this year.
