Nečas: It makes no sense to keep the government afloat, if not able to enforce budget

PRAGUE (MEDIAFAX) - In the event that the government fails to enforce budgetary policy of the Czech Republic for the next year, it makes no sense to keep it artificially alive. In Sunday's agenda Questions of Vaclav Moravec said that Prime Minister Petr Necas (ODS).

"If we fail to approve a budget for next year, then it is a fair solution to the voters to agree on early elections," said Necas, who also pointed out that the provisional budget would be very unfortunate step.

"But I hope you win and responsibility for budgetary policy of the government, and thus the tax package, can be found in the Chamber of Deputies enough support," said the Prime Minister, with the opposition understands current actions. "Trying to bring the situation early elections to the Chamber of Deputies is expected from CSSD and legitimate move," he said.

Chairman government TOP 09 Karel Schwarzenberg said that the coalition convention pledged to promote responsible policies that will lead to the reduction of indebtedness, which, according to him, yet thrive. "But I recognize that we are in regional and Senate elections had the best results, you should soul-searching. This does not mean that we retreated from our pre-election promises," Schwarzenberg said, adding: "I said that I would not watch it, how's Czech in the footsteps of Greece, and that is what we did. "

Minister Schwarzenberg also warned that if the government fails to enforce the tax package, so it's time to leave and come new. "If that happens, I will cry. Accepting the offer of the Left to support the budget and we are nods to early elections," says the chairman of TOP 09

Vojtech Filip (Communists) said that his party has made towards the cabinet Petr Necas friendliest step, which could, thus offering further negotiations. "However, coalition members are not even able to go to work and the budget committee, so nothing can be done," said Philip.

Chairman of the largest opposition party Bohuslav Sobotka (CSSD) is convinced that the government can not continue in the same style, which played so far. "ODS and TOP 09 received in the current election, only 18 percent of the votes, and should have lost to draw the consequences," said Sobotka and added: "The government has a record low confidence, the state budget for 2013 is neither responsible nor well built and debt of the country in comparison to 2006 doubled. these are facts that can not be ignored. "

Sobotka is now in the company of great social tensions that need to be addressed, and new elections could be an important valve that can release pressure.

Early elections would be welcomed by the President of unparliamentary KDU-CSL Paul Bělobrádek. "In past elections, we got a decent slap that woke us. Consequences we concluded, we restructured the leadership of the party, and now we are ready to offer citizens a clear and transparent policy for both right-wing opponents of the Left and citizens dissatisfied with the government of the ODS and TOP 09," he concluded Bělobrádek.

Consideration of a tax package that includes, for example criticized by many increases in VAT rates by one percentage point, the coalition wants to approve the Chamber of Deputies 23rd October. Finance Minister Miroslav Kalousek (TOP 09) long-term claims that the scope for changes in this proposal is really minimal.
