EOS: Czech exporters should be wary, payment mérálka German companies worsens

A survey of the international collection agency EOS KSI that the deterioration of payment discipline affected the most significant Czech export destinations. One third of Czech exporters should be careful about the payment from German companies - 27% of their payments late. With late payment should be also count for 34% of invoices in Poland and 30% of invoices in the Slovak Republic. Thanks to the Czech Republic increased interest on the recovery abroad of more than a third.

Although nearly one third of the goods and services are paid by German companies with a delay, in Europe, Germany has the best payment behavior after Russia. At the very tail ranking plummeted United Kingdom, where it is too late repaid almost half of all claims. According to a study international collection agency EOS KSI, which was conducted in ten European countries.

For the situation in Britain may also mean 32denní period intended to repay, which are among the shortest in Europe. A study at the same time shows that, despite bad payment morale of British companies mostly pay the invoice. Irrecoverable in the UK is only 2%, on the contrary of Romanian customers which are irrecoverable claims 9%.

Spain is depressed to the average, but local businesses allow long maturities, averaging 72 days.Greece is in debt to 31% of late payments and the average maturity of 90 days to countries with poor payment habits.

"In the context of the overall economic situation and changes in payment behavior in Europe we have seen in the last year, more than 30% increase in the interest of Czech companies to recover debts from abroad,"says Vladimir Vachel, executive EOS KSI Czech Republic. It's no wonder. For example, in Germany, headed by the current data of the Czech Statistical Office, 32% of Czech exports. "Domestic firms may default on payment of morality bring significant complications. When dealing with foreign countries is therefore important to be cautious and avoid possible problems such as early testing of the customer, quality contracts, or by setting an effective system of collection of international concern, "advises Vladimir Vachel.
