In Pilsen, the second act began charging stations for electric cars

PLZEŇ (MEDIAFAX) - In the second order electric charging stations in Pilsen began operation on Monday at the Customer Centre CEZ Guldenerova street. Mediafax agency spokesman ČEZ Group for Central and Western Bohemia Martin Sobotka.

The station, which is equipped with two drawers, electric car recharges in two hours. "This is a so-called normal charging. One of the drawers is Mennekes type three-phase charging up to 32A/400V. The second is similar to the classic household outlet and allows single-phase charging at 16A/230V. The great advantage of seemingly ordinary socket is to optimize the electric charge, which prolongs battery life, "said Sobotka.

"The demand for emission-free, electric traffic increases. In September this year in the Czech Republic has sold a record number of electric vehicles. So we have to respond adequately to the situation and build the necessary infrastructure. The launch of the next charging station in Pilsen want to meet the growing interest in elektromobilní transport in the region, "said Thomas Chmelík, clean technology department manager of CEZ.

To use the charging stations must have the ČEZ signed customer contract. For a symbolic fee, clients can then use the facility.

By the end of CEZ plans to put into operation by the first charging station in Jaroměř.
