Income derived in the Czech Republic over 2,855,000 people

PRAGUE (MEDIAFAX) - The Czech Social Security Administration (CSSA) recorded at the end of September in the Czech Republic, a total of 2,855,623 pensioners receiving old-age, disability and survivors' benefits. Those paying a total of 3,482,546 pensions Mediafax agency said on Thursday informed John Buranov for CSSA.

Another 75,562 CSSA income paid abroad, a total of 78 countries in the world.

At 30 September paid CSSA Czech Republic 2,337,480 pensions, 440,421 and 704,645 disability pensions, survivors (ie, widows, widower's and orphan).

The average old-age pension was at the end of September 2012 a total of 10,765 crowns, of which 11 935 men and 9771 women's crowns. The average age of retirees receiving a pension was 68 years of age: 70 for men and for women 67 years.

From January to September increased a total of 125,382 newly granted pensions, of which 63,126 old-age pensions, disability 25,681 and 36,575 survivors.

According to the Pension Insurance Act CSSA pensions paid either in cash via Czech Post to the address of permanent or temporary residence, or by bank transfer to the bank account of the client. Citizen chooses the way pension payment, when applying for a pension with the fact that at any time thereafter may ask CSSA on changing the way of payment. Through the SCART pensions are not paid or not paid.
