Worse prospects for the construction sector in the UK


iPoint.cz In the UK, was published purchasing managers index (PMI) for the construction sector. The outlook for the UK construction industry in January offend worst for last six months, mainly due to the worsening situation in the housing market.
PMI index fell in January to 48.7 points from December's 49.3 points and holds the second month in a row in the contractionary zone below the value of 50 Construction is doing the worst since July 2012, when there was a decrease due to poor weather.
Construction of houses grew the slowest pace since December 2010, when the new designs discontinued due to snow disasters.

Currency pair EUR / GBP in recent days found themselves in a downward trend. On an hourly chart forms a lower high and together with the reflection from the declining trend lines could further weaken despite today's bad news from Britain. The nearest support is the price of 0.8080.
