Retail sales in the UK have failed

Bossa

UK retail sales in December fell by 0.1 percent. Growth and did not receive the third month in a row. The British economy is very disappointing. It was expected that during December there is an increase in sales due to the Christmas holidays. The main reason for poor sales was 3procentní sales slump housewares and 0.3 percent decline in food. Consumers are under pressure, is troubled by high inflation (2.7 percent), which exceeds the growth in wages. Certainty, neither looking at my government, which holds the austerity measures.

The British pound weakened against the U.S. dollar throughout the week. For traders were clearly legible, because it maintained its downward channel. This morning proved "sterling" (GBP / USD) break Fibonacci level of 76.4 and heading towards 1.59.
