Japan - deflation ends, the CPI fell by 0.2%


Japanese deflation ends. According to figures released today, the CPI fell by 0.2% yoy. The Bank of Japan will have a lot to do to reach the newly established inflation target of 2%. We can therefore confidently expect long-term continuation of the Japanese version of quantitative easing, which is likely to lead to a weakening of the yen. This is not like some states. Specifically, yesterday said German Chancellor Merkel, who spoke in Davos from the Japanese process concerns.
