Why the real shopping spree on equities is yet to come


Equity markets are moving most of their time either in the process of buying a speculative fever, or during a crash. Rarely is there a situation that would have gone a long time in the market several years into the party. When we look at the evolution of the S & P 500 over the last 20 years, we can see that the market turns only 2 phases - shopping spree and bust. With a bit of an exaggeration to say that virtually nothing has been no in-between.

For the past 20 years, this is the third great bull market in equity markets and, as the stock indexes in the U.S. with great speed closer to their pre-crisis highs, many investors naturally asks whether this bull cycle in its end, or will rally continue.

While it would be currently somewhat exaggeration to say that stock markets are bubble confident about them we can certainly say that the bubble forms, and quite a lot of convincing ...
