Czech Republic in 2012 received EU funds by 73.8 billion more than they paid


During 2012, the Czech Republic has received from the EU budget total 113.7 billion CZK (approx. € 4.52 billion) and the total paid to the budget of CZK 39.8 billion (about € 1.58 billion) . The net position in 2012 is significantly positive, the Czech Republic received CZK 73.8 billion more (ie € 2.94 billion) than in the European budget paid. The resulting net position for the year 2012 is about to CZK 43 billion higher than the position in 2011, when it reached CZK 30.8 billion. In terms of the gross domestic product, the total revenues of the Czech Republic Czech Republic from the EU budget, approximately 3% of GDP in the Czech Republic, the share of net revenue was 1.9%.

The high positive balance of the Czech Republic to the EU budget is mainly due to receipts from the Structural Funds and the Cohesion Fund, which amounted to 81.3 billion CZK (€ 3.23 billion). Given that the vast majority of programs for the period 2004-2006 has been completed drawing of interim payments, accounted for the dominant portion of revenue programs from 2007 - 2013. The volume of the interim payments at the current programs in 2012 reached the amount of CZK 79 billion, well above the amount of interim payments for the year 2011 (41.7 billion CZK). This significant increase in the volume pumping cohesion funds was primarily caused by the resumption drawing some operational programs, especially OP Transport and OP Environment.

By the end of 2012, the Czech Republic succeeded cohesion exhaust all means in accordance with the n +3, and the CR on any funds from the Structural Funds and the Cohesion Fund came.

Funds from the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) are traditionally the second highest income area of the Czech Republic from the EU budget and totaled CZK 29.7 billion (€ 1.18 billion). Key items of income are from the CAP direct payments, which amounted to CZK 18.7 billion (€ 743 million), and funds drawn on rural development in the amount of CZK 10.5 billion (€ 419 million).

The community programs in the net position for the year 2012, the indication corresponding to the actual amount of revenue for these programs in 2011, since information about the real level of spending for 2012 is currently not available 1 .

Contributions to the Czech Republic to the EU budget 2012 was counted and the amount of CZK 1,008 million, which was to be designed by the Commission included the January installment of the budget for 2013. Given that these additional resources related to the approved pozměňujícímu EU budget for 2012, it was decided that these funds will be paid by the Czech Republic in the levies for 2012.

Overall, CR 1 31 May 2004 December 2012 EU budget to pay 301.16 billion CZK (approx. € 11.3 billion) and received 551.18 billion CZK (approx. € 21 billion). The positive balance of net position of the Czech Republic in relation to the EU budget from entry into the Union generally reached CZK 250 billion (about € 9.75 billion).
