CR - unemployment in January to 8% of work is 585 809 people


At 31 January 2013 in the Czech Republic 585 809 jobless people. This is about 40,498 more than at the end of December. Compared to last January added 51,720 unemployed. It results from the Labour Office of the Czech Republic. The share of unemployed persons reached 8 percent. Authorities work to the end of January registered a total of 35,524 unemployed graduates and young people. Yoy it is about 4,044 more than last December then about 596 less. The total unemployment, the group share of 6.1 percent.

Without a job at the end of January, in absolute numbers, 274,458 women (46.9% of total unemployed) and 63,370 persons with disabilities (10.8%).

The highest proportion of unemployed labor offices registered at 31 January 2013 in Bruntál (14.0%), Most (13.4%), Jesenik (13.3%) and Znojmo (12.1%). Lowest in the districts of Prague-East (3.3%), Prague-West (3.7%), Prague (4.4%) and Mlada Boleslav (4.6%).

Unemployment in January this year to provide labor offices total 138,104 jobseekers state assistance thus gained 23.6 percent of people who are in their records. A month earlier unemployment benefits received 19.8 percent of job seekers. Last year in January 2012 it was 22 percent.

The unemployment rate, which handles EUROSTAT for international comparison, reached in the Czech Republic last December to 7.5 percent. Was by 3.2 percentage point lower than the average for the EU 27

Job offices registered at 31 January 2013 a total of 33,794 vacancies. The vacancy so now accounts on average 17.3 candidate. Most in Jeseník (122.9), Brod (100.5), Most (89.1), Bruntál (72.6) and Decin (59.4).

Based on the monitoring of vacancies from the internet in January (after adjusting for duplicates) in the labor market offered additional 38,800 job vacancies.
