Copper on Friday, the most in a week more expensive

ColosseumFriday's rise in copper futures contracts was driven by positive numbers from China, which is the largest consumer of industrial metals in the world. In January, China's exports grew by 25% and imports by 29% compared to the same period last year. To record levels also reached sales of passenger cars in China. They were in January even 49% higher. All these data suggest that the Chinese economy is picking up breath and we can expect an increased demand for copper. The March copper on Friday, the CME ended growth of 0.9% to 375.95 cents per pound of weight.
