World number one food, Nestlé Group, announced that in Q4 last year recorded sales growth of 5.9%, which was at least the last three years and it also lagged behind market expectations in this regard set at 6%. The main problem is the pressure on prices in emerging markets, where the company sells less than half their production.

Trading operating margin in 2012 reached the level of 15.2% compared to an estimated 15.3% of the market.

European division of revenue on organic basis in Q4 grew by 1.8%, emerging markets division revenue grew by 11% and generated 43% of total revenue, slightly underperformed the company's target set at 45%.

Grow "organic" sales growth in Asia, Oceania and Africa in 2012 reached 8.4% compared to 9.4% at the end of 3Q. The decline in growth rate while particularly associated with the negative impact of one-off problems such as the floods in the Philippines. After they subsided, however, failed to effect significant "recovery" as expected.

The management stated that it intends to increase this year dividend by 5.1% to 2.05 CHF per share, lagging estimates for the market in this regard set to 2.1 CHF per share.
