U.S. - orders in the manufacturing sector in February fell by 2%, less than expected

Orders in the U.S. manufacturing sector in January, according to the Commerce Department declined 2% from the December increase of 1.3%. The decrease is mainly due to a further reduction in demand for military equipment and transport aircraft.
Market counted on average with a decrease of 2.2% in the overall estimates range from -0.5 to +4.5%.

Demand for durable goods fell in February by 4.9%, the demand for consumer goods contrary, grew by 0.6% due to the growth of interest in fuels and chemicals.

December's figures were revised downwards from pre-notified of growth of 1.8%.
