Czech floods seniors! Look at how many old people there to live in 2050

We age due to prolongation of human life. But it is a positive phenomenon? According to a chart published by the Ministry of Labour and Social Affairs, is more reason to demographic and social panic.

The high number of very old people lead in the final stage of the unsustainability of pensions and other systems, including health and social care.

Significant aging of the population will take place both at home and in Europe, and a very fast pace. Aging will cover not only the population as a whole, but especially the elderly population, where the group will grow very old - that 80letých and older people who have specific needs.

Increase since 2010 in the EU countries by 5%, or from 4.4% to 9.4%. The Czech Republic will be among the countries with the fastest aging populations. The projected increase in the elderly population is shown in the graph.

The most dramatic increase in population until 2065 statisticians assume in a group of people older than 85 years. These are the people who are mostly dependent on help from the community. From 2002 to 2065, the number of people over 85 years in the Czech Republic goes up by 700%.
