More and more Czechs to retire early


"People who are nearing the age of 60 years, are increasingly coming to consult the district social security, whether partially resolved their situation, especially the loss of a job or work performance going into early retirement," said the published figures spokeswoman Jana CSSA Buranov . According to her, however, people are often versed in how, when and under what conditions to apply for early retirement.

It affects several factors, including year of birth, time of payment of insurance and the number of women raised children. "If after the statutory retirement age is less than 63 years, early retirement may be granted up to three years before a person reaches retirement age," explained Buranov and added: "However, if the statutory retirement age at least 63 years, may be granted early retirement by up to five years earlier, but notbefore reaching the age of 60. "

The CSSA also pointed out that retirement pensions are curtailed, the amount of precipitation depends on the length of time which is missing to achieve proper retirement age.

Czech Social Security Administration pays a total of 2,341,220 pensions, of which nearly one in four goes to the account of the elderly, who retired prematurely.
