U.S. - the number of new applications for assistance last week rose more than expected

The number of new requests for support in unemployment in the U.S. last week rose by 16,000 to a total of 357,000 cases. Reckoned in the market with an average growth of about 340 to 000 applications with a total range of estimates from 330 to 355 000th

The four-week moving average rose to 343,000 applications.

The number of Americans receiving long-term support in
unemployment benefits fell by 27,000 to 3.05 million, the lowest since June 2008.
The number of Americans receiving their wages to more emergency or extended support payments increased by 125,500 to 1.91 million people.
